great upgrade! the atmosphere it's great! I really like how you pace your game, so it is easy to learn the mechanics! the new enemies are an great addiction! Although I think you could work on the character movement a little, things like jump cancel to give more control on air, maybe some acceleration when walking, etc. with all that been said, It's really getting great!

You are right, the player needs to be refined :) I have no clear what I want for her, so I continue with other big issues like development and background/layers design. It's too much work for a solo indie game developer, but I have fun a lot with it :D

really neat prototype! I cant wait for the boss music to be put in and a running feature! I also found a bug where I was able to shoot a rocket after killing a grub bug and entering the 3rd or 4th room to the left.

the improvements were great! love the thunder sounds! and the flow of the music!

Some things I think you could look into:

- the music doesn't loop;

- is it possible to open the menu while the upgrade messages appear, when I did that when taking the first missile tank, the game froze;

- when entering a door you have to press the move button again, which can lock the momentum of the game, I don't know if I could explain it well;

- one thing that would be nice is a button that locks your position, allowing you to aim freely, so you don't have to walk to shoot diagonally;

But again, it's a great improvement.

Great prototype! Feels extremely Super Metoid, which is always a good thing. The prototype art is cute, too!

Did you implement this entirely in raw HTML5, or did you use a framework like Phaser?

could use a return to menu option when you die instead of locking the game up and requiring a full reload.

good control layout , like below kryll is ! dont understand how to get past the pink doors or the brown blocks though , looked all around but cant find anything ?

Pink doors are not operative in the prototype. Brown blocks can be destroyed with missiles after defeating first boss ;)
